Dr Charlene
Provides dedication to excellence in the field of companion animal euthanasia.
Having been qualified as a veterinarian for 14 years, Dr Charlene really understands how to say goodbye to a pet in the kindest way. Dr Charlene started her career In London, UK having qualified at The Royal Veterinary College, UK. She moved to WA in 2014 and has always cared for small companion animals. After recently having to have her own cat euthanised at home, she realised how important it would be to offer this service to other people in and around the Peel, South Metropolitan and South West regions. Pets can be in the comfort of their own home, and don't have the stress associated with clinic visits. Dr Charlene offers the "put to sleep" service in your home for companion animals such as cats and all dogs, however large or small. You can guarantee that it will be Dr Charlene that attends your visit.
Dr Charlene has completed the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Certificate in Pet Loss support during euthanasia.
Gentle in-home euthanasia
When it is the right time to let your pet go, an in-home vet visit will help to keep your companion as calm and relaxed as possible. As an animal lover herself, Dr Charlene knows that this emotional decision can be extremely difficult to make.
However, a dignified and peaceful end to your pet's life at home, will help you have happy memories of them forever. A beautiful goodbye that meets all your needs as well as your pet’s at a very difficult time. A strong sedative is always administered to keep your pet pain free right to the end.
Dr Charlene provides "compassion"- (she really understands what you are going through), as well as being a "companion" (supports you through a difficult journey).
Contact Dr Charlene for appointments
Dr Charlene tries to answer calls and emails as soon as possible, as well as be flexible with euthanasia times. However sometimes she may not be able to respond until the following day- this will be because she is busy with other pets. Please be patient, she tries her best for all beloved pets.
